The Smart Matrix

Enyxus™ offers paid subscribers/members an additional “bespoke” version of the Market Matrix known as the Smart Matrix. The Smart Matrix allows users to view their exchange-specific portfolio while also comparing the performance of those assets to one another, and to other assets in the user’s watchlist.

The Smart Matrix functions in a very similar way as the Market Matrix with some significant differences, as the Smart Matrix Lists are based on one’s actual holdings, along with his or her watchlist. Below are key differentiating features:

  • Once a user connects an account, the holdings in the account are immediately added to a Smart Matrix.
  • The Smart Matrix that is automatically created is simply tied to the account that the user provides when they connect the account.
  • When a user wants to add watch list items to the Smart Matrix, they’ll do so through the Asset chooser Window, similar to the process in the Market Matrix. However, the Asset Window will only populate with the assets that are available on the exchange that has been connected.
  • A ring around an asset in the Matrix Wheel of the Smart Matrix indicates an asset that is currently held by the user.

Figure 15

The Smart Matrix has more than one Default State depending on actions previously made by the user:

  1. A Smart Matrix is tied to whatever account the trader has opened in the Account Drop-Down list. If Global is already populating that list, the Smart Matrix defaults to the either:

    • The first account the trader has listed in their list of connected exchanges, in the event that the user has never before selected an exchange to trade within the platform, or a more likely scenario…

    • The last account the user had opened either within the session, or even on a new sign-in. (Please note that the order of accounts listed in the exchange chooser is sorted by market value (the aggregate value of all holdings expressed in Key Asset Value) from highest value to lowest. This means that the order can automatically change depending on what happens in the market to the holdings in each account.)

  2. The user can always change to another Smart Matrix by changing the account

Figure 16

  1. The order of the items in each Smart Matrix is ranked by default, from top to bottom, on the sum Key Asset value of the holdings in each asset. A hover over the unit quantity shows the Key Asset Value.
  2. The order on the wheel matches the order of assets on the Smart Matrix List, running clockwise from Key Asset.
  3. The Matrix wheel defaults to the maximum number of units in the Smart Matrix with a cap of 21 on the wheel.

The Smart Matrix indicates watched (non-held assets) with a star. Assets with holdings have a drop-down option button in place of the star indicating that this is a holding (see image below). When clicked, the drop-down menu opens all of the blocks in that holding (Block Summary View), their gain/loss in units in whatever the “To Asset” that has been selected indicates, along with the % gain or loss is represented (see image to the right). The To Asset is always preselected as the Key Asset (or USD) by default. This can be changed, however, in the drop-down list next to the name of the To Asset in the Route Summary area.

Figure 17

Whatever route has been selected in the list is also populated in the Matrix Wheel. Users can also choose a From Asset with a quick selection in the Wheel and select a route by selecting the Route Line on the Wheel.

Figure 18

Only HELD assets can be selected as From Assets. Whenever a Held Asset is selected as a From Asset on the Wheel, the list on the left automatically opens the drop-down list view/Route Summary. Users can also change the route from the Route indicator drop down menus. When users have multiple blocks, they have the ability to select the blocks they want to Analyze or Trade by clicking anywhere on the row and clicking their desired action (Analyze/Trade) above. Clicking either of these options opens the appropriate Trade or Analyze Window.

When the Matrix List Window is showing the Block Summary View for an asset, summaries of the blocks selected and the combined metrics for those selected blocks populate the bottom of the Matrix List area.

Please note that there is no “locking-mechanism” for selecting routes as there is in the Market Matrix because routes are dependent on the assets one is holding. Rather, users can change “Routes” on the Wheel or by using the drop-down arrows on the Route Summary to select assets from the Smart Matrix list.

Additionally, unlike the Market Matrix there is no ability to change time frames in the Smart Matrix. This is because the gain or loss being displayed is measured against the last cost of the block being analyzed.

Within the list of assets on the Smart Matrix is an “Add New” button. This will pull up the Asset Window which has the entire list of all tradable crypto assets on the exchange. Users can simply select the assets they want to add to the list by scrolling down the list, or searching in the search bar. This will add them to the bottom of the list. This will not impact the “Wheel” however, until they drag tokens up into the selection area, thus changing the assignment or changing the number to adjust the assignment.

Additions made to a Smart Matrix are immediately effective just as they are in the asset chooser in block view and thus require no additional saving.

Users can either drag an asset in the list to change the order of assignment, or the user can change the number in the box in order to set the order of the assignment. This new list order is automatically saved not just for the session, but indefinitely.

Additionally, arrow buttons appear on the left of the asset once the asset is selected. These arrows allow for a single clickable move up or down the list.

Figure 19

Users can sort their Smart Matrix by Symbol rather than Holdings as well. However, sorting does not change the assignment order. It simply changes the current view.

Sorting by symbol is not a saved state that remains in effect after logout. Sorting by symbol sorts the list by assignment number. Once a user logs out and back in, the default list reverts back to the numbering of the asset order that the user has previously elected. If the user has never re-sorted the list, the default again is by Key Asset value of the sum of each holding. Watchlist items default to the order that the items were added to the list.
